Tustin, CA –  The City of Tustin is hosting its second public workshop regarding the City’s potential move to district elections on Wednesday, September 22, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The workshop will include an overview of the district formation process and an introduction to tools residents can use to draw maps highlighting their communities of interest.

Those unable to attend the public workshop can visit the Calendar Page at drawtustin.org several days following the event to view recordings and meeting materials from the September 22 event as well as all workshops and hearings.

The City encourages all Tustin residents to provide input on where potential district boundaries should be drawn. The new District Map Tool for drawing communities of interest is easily accessible on the Draw A Map Page of the City’s districting website. The first deadline for community members to submit their proposed district maps for the first publication of draft maps is Wednesday, September 29, by 5 p.m. PST. The second deadline for community members to submit their proposed maps to be considered for the second publication of draft maps is Thursday, October 14, at 5 p.m. PST.
